Warwickshire Wildlife Trust (WKWT) is one of the 46 UK Wildlife Trusts. Established in 1970, the Trust is a grass-roots organisation governed by 14 trustees elected from a membership of 29,000 people, 99% of whom live in the county, and supported by over 700 active volunteers. WKWT manages 60 + nature reserves and aims to bring wildlife back to Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull.
The Sherbourne Valley Project is led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, working with partner organisations and local communities to re-write the future of Coventry’s River Sherbourne. Together we believe everyone, everywhere, should have access to nature and the joy and health benefits it brings. This is why we’re working hard to protect and restore nature reserves, engage local communities, educate the next generation and campaign for change. The Trust is also embarking on an ambitious new ten-year strategy to put wildlife into recovery by 2030, by creating more space for nature with more people on nature’s side.
Our strategy
We will work for 30% of land in recovery, protected and connected for nature by 2030. Read more about Warwickshire Wildlife Trust’s 2030 strategy and how you can help here.
